Never Give Up

Yesterday my youngest walked across that graduation stage, and I couldn't be prouder. This kid has been through more than anyone his age should have to endure - he came so close to dropping out, faced life-altering changes because of mistakes I made, and dealt with devastating loss and grief. But through it all, he never lost his heart... or his sass!

He's grown into someone who is genuinely kind, deeply caring, and compassionately wise beyond his years. His intelligence shines not just in academics, but in how he sees the world and treats others - usually with a perfectly timed sarcastic comment that keeps us all laughing.
None of this would have been possible without his incredible siblings, who never stopped believing in him, pushing him forward when he couldn't see the way himself, and who stood by him through everything. All three of them are beautifully sassy in their own ways - wonder where they get that from? 😏
Even though I am still missing one, watching these three together yesterday reminded me that even in our darkest moments, love and family (and a good sense of humor) can carry us through. So proud of who my youngest has become, and so grateful for the siblings who helped get him there.
Graduation isn't just an ending - it's proof that we can overcome anything when we don't give up on each other. ❤️
