Going Green for Good: Why I’m Donating 10% of My eBay Sales to Mental Health America

Hey friends—Jenni here (aka JstJenni), tapping in with a little heart‑to‑heart and a whole lot of green. As many of you know, May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this year I wanted to do more than just wear a green ribbon. I wanted to turn my everyday hustle—yes, your girl’s eBay shop—into a force for good. So here’s the deal: I’m donating 10% of every sale from my eBay listings straight to Mental Health America.

Why Mental Health Matters to Me

I’ve been raw about my own mental‑health journey on this blog—celebrating the highs, owning the lows, and sharing the messy middle. Mental health isn’t a luxury; it’s as vital as brushing your teeth or getting that morning coffee. And yet stigma still holds too many of us back from talking, seeking help, or even admitting we need a day off.

Mental Health America fights exactly that stigma, offering public education, advocacy, policy change, and direct services to millions across the U.S. Whether it’s free screenings, peer support groups, or pushing for better insurance parity, they’re on the front lines.

Green Is More Than a Color

You’ve probably seen the “Be Seen in Green” campaigns floating around—green bandanas, green shirts, even green shoes. There’s a reason for all that verdant love: green is the official color of mental health awareness. It’s a universal symbol that says, “I see you, I stand with you, and mental health matters.”

Check out the Be Seen in Green collection to pick up tees, totes, pins, and more—all proceeds from this fundraiser support Mental Health America’s mission to advance mental health for every community (Mental Health America).
